Payap University faith and philosophical principles has been set as one of the University missions based on the Christian foundation. The principles aim to empower the desired characteristics of graduates which include ethical hearts, society’s servants, academic excellence, and develop international competence. Furthermore, the principles will lead to visions on developing the University to be “a source of international learning, developing global citizens”. Those who have studied at Payap University must be aware of self-development, have knowledge, be creative, well behaved, have responsibility for oneself, and have the ability to work efficiently as in the University motto “Truth and Service”. The five principles include Peace, Truth, Service, Unity, and Stewardship.
The undergraduate students are required to pass the morals and ethics training as being one of the graduation requirements. The students will attend the training and workshop for learning and understanding the five principles of Payap University, including the participation in social service activities with the Religious Affairs Office or with the faculty/college. The training/workshop hours must not be less than 20 hours.

All students also need to complete W6 – 20 hours of community service with reflection.
