Language Enhancement Center (LEC)
LEC is the Language Enhancement Center at Payap University where we teach languages to adults and children in order to help them communicate with people around the world. The LEC strives to be the first choice in people’s mind when they think about learning a second language.
The LEC premier language classes are the new Intensive English Program and the world famous Intensive Thai Program. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in attending language classes at Payap to enhance your English or Thai abilities, check out this website to find out when classes will start.
The Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT)
Students who want to study at the Payap University International College (IC) need proof of their English ability to do so. These students can use TOEFL or IELTS test results or take the Oxford Online Placement Test in the LEC office. The IC will accept students who score B2 on the OOPT. The OOPT test listening and use of English. The International College has requested the LEC add a speaking and writing test to the OOPT as these are required English ability skills of it’s students. The exam is on Fridays at 9:00 in the morning and costs 500 baht.
